1st Day of Substitute teaching....

I signed up to sub a 4th grade elementary class. I was a little nervous and scared. As I walked into school I tried to come across calm and assertive like the dog whisper always says to do :) I relaxed a little once I meet the very nice front office staff. When I went to the classroom the teacher was there so she gave me the instructions and I was able to ask questions which also eased my nerves. It was definitely a learning experience!!! I was sort of glad I only worked a half day for my first day. On the bright side four of the students drew me pictures. One drawling said I was the greatest sub ever and another was a colorful barn. I just thought it was so cute that they drew me pictures. Looking forward to the next time assignment and interested to see how it goes at a high school.
